We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Analyst to provide technical leadership across our enterprise network environment and support mission-critical infrastructure that underpins patient care.
About the role:
This is a senior technical position responsible for:
Providing technical leadership and guidance within the Network Team
Ensuring efficient, customer-focused support and timely escalation of complex issues
Leading and participating in network architecture and design initiatives delivering highly available, fault‑tolerant solutions for mission‑critical clinical and corporate systems
Researching, testing and advising on emerging technologies
Supporting infrastructure projects across diverse and remote sites
Participating in an on-call roster
Driving continual service improvement aligned to ITIL service management frameworks
You will operate within a complex, geographically distributed health network environment where reliability, security and performance are non-negotiable.
About you:
You are a technically strong, solutions-focused network professional with demonstrated experience in enterprise environments.
You will bring:
Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry certifications or equivalent experience
Strong expertise in switching and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs, ARP, Spanning Tree)
Experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SSO, Network Access Control, VPNs and Next Generation Firewalls
Enterprise wireless and mobility solutions knowledge (802.11 standards)
Experience leading or contributing to infrastructure architecture and design workshops
Proven ability to manage vendors and third-party providers
Strong analytical and problem-solving capability in complex, mission-critical environments
A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage competing demands
Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel across sites as required
Experience with Aruba Networks, Extreme Networks and FortiGate products will be highly regarded.
