An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our outpatient Physiotherapy service in a Musculoskeletal Senior Physiotherapist Position. This position provides advanced clinical care to adults with complex musculoskeletal conditions, with a caseload of hip and knee osteoarthritis management, integrating evidence‑based MSK outpatient physiotherapy with delivery of the NSW Health Musculoskeletal conditions.The successful applicant will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, providing high‑level clinical assessment, education, exercise‑based management and self‑management support, while contributing to service development, quality improvement and mentoring of junior staff.

Oppurtunities: 

  • Deliver high‑quality physiotherapy care with autonomy, complex case management, and opportunities to shape innovative service models. 
  • Evaluate and enhance programs, contribute to best‑practice frameworks, and influence the future direction of physiotherapy services. 
  • Supervise Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, support AHAs, and guide students through teaching, coaching, and clinical leadership. 
 

Are You the Right Fit? 
We are looking for someone who:  

  • Demonstrates strong assessment and decision‑making skills, especially with complex or novel presentations. 
  • Confident guiding Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students with a supportive, growth‑focused approach. 
  • Comfortable evaluating programs, improving models of care and contributing to service development. 
  • Able to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues. 
  • Engages in ongoing learning, reflective practice and evidence‑based care. 
 

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex Musculoskeletal caseload.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
