About the Role

The Senior Mental Health Clinician (Allied Health Level 3) provides expert clinical advice to patients, carers and other health care professionals within a defined specialty through the delivery of specialist consultant service which:
- To provide effective short-term mental health intervention, assessment and crisis service to people experiencing an acute mental health concern in the community. This involves proactive mental health assessment and engagement in community settings.
- To work in partnership with other agencies to provide psychosocial interventions aiming for maximal symptomatic and functional recovery and prevention of relapse.
- Develops implements and evaluates care management plans for patients with complex health needs.
- Provides leadership in the ongoing development of clinical practice.

Ideal Candidate
Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
Extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist (including AHPRA registration) or as a Social Worker or Occupational Therapist, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
Understanding of and commitment to recovery-oriented services.
