About the Role
You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. The Senior Medical Radiation Scientist (MRS) is responsible for the provision, scheduling and supervision of services within a section of the Department of Molecular Imaging (PET & Nuclear Medicine; ‘the Department’), under the direction of the Deputy Chief MRS and Chief MRS. The Senior MRS is required to perform clinical duties in PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine to a high standard and assist the Chief MRS in ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the Department and with the supervision of Level 1-3 MRS staff.

Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Science) Nuclear Medicine, Licenced with the EPA and AHPRA Registration.
- Documented extensive experience performing PET-CT and general nuclear medicine scans/procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary health care environment.
- Ability to instruct MRS, students and other health workers in appropriate techniques.
