This is a unique opportunity to lead high-impact work at the forefront of health system intelligence in NSW as the Senior Manager Lumos team in the System Monitoring and Insights team within the System Information and Analytics Branch. You will help shape how linked data and evidence are used to understand patient journeys, monitor system performance and inform better health policy and planning. You will provide strategic leadership for Lumos, an established and nationally significant program that brings together general practice and hospital data to generate insights that cannot be achieved from either setting alone. Working across a complex environment, you will build trusted partnerships with senior decision-makers, data custodians, technical experts, researchers and primary care organisations. You will guide strong governance, oversee delivery of strategic priorities and translate sophisticated analysis into clear, actionable advice for NSW Health. The role offers the chance to influence system-wide decisions while leading a skilled, collaborative team committed to innovation, integrity and meaningful impact. If you are an experienced leader who thrives on complexity and wants to turn evidence into better health outcomes, we would welcome your application.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with data custodians, Primary Health Networks, general practices, researchers, technical specialists and other partners across the health system.
  • Oversee robust governance, privacy, ethics and data management processes to maintain stakeholder confidence and support the responsible use of sensitive health information.
  • Lead and support a skilled multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement while translating complex analysis into practical insights and measurable value.
