Position Title: Senior Legal Officer
Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
Salary range: $127,150 - $144,444 per annum + 12% Super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 3)
Location: NSW Ambulance State Operations Centre, Sydney Olympic Park

About You

You're a confident and collaborative legal professional who thrives on complex challenges and values making a difference through public service. With sound judgement and clear communication, you bring calm and clarity to high-pressure situations.

You'll bring:

  • Legal qualifications and a current NSW practicing certificate, and 3+ years post-admission experience
  • Strong skills in legal advice, case management, and briefing counsel, ideally in administrative or coronial law
  • A solid understanding of privacy and access to information legislation
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, lead others, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, with a talent for explaining legal matters clearly and simply
