Senior Intensive Care Unit Pharmacist
- Postgraduate qualifications in either Diploma of Hospital Pharmacy, Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy or any other relevant postgraduate qualifications. Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia with no conditions or restrictions on practice and evidence of extensive relevant hospital experience.
- Advanced-level clinical practice in intensive care pharmacy, including advanced skills and knowledge in critical care pharmacotherapy and ability to contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making in managing complex critically ill patients.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, maintain and share quality improvement and research activities, as well as implement innovative practice models and conduct service evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, consistently prioritising tasks and managing high-pressure workloads. Skilled in applying advanced clinical reasoning and exercising independent professional judgement. Demonstrated ability to supervise other Pharmacy staff and be responsible for the supervision of other Pharmacists, as well as participation in teaching programs.
