About Us – eHealth NSW
At eHealth NSW, we’re leading the digital transformation of Australia’s largest health system. As NSW Health’s digital centre of excellence, we design, build and support world-class ICT solutions that improve patient care across the state.
eHealth is implementing a NSW Health wide Cyber Security Uplift program. This multi-year strategic initiative is designed to enhance cyber resilience across the state's health system. We are working with Local Health Districts, Pillars, and Agencies to improve how we detect and respond to risks and to make sure everyone follows consistent security standards. By investing in modern technologies, governance frameworks, and workforce capability, NSW Health is proactively addressing the evolving cyber threat landscape to safeguard critical health services and patient data.
About the Opportunity
As Senior Identity Management Specialist at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through the delivery of secure, reliable Identity and Access Management solutions that protect critical systems and enable safe, efficient patient care.
This role offers the opportunity to guide application developers and lead the design and delivery of large and complex Identity Management solutions, leveraging technology and streamlined processes to achieve business outcomes.
In this role, you will:
• Provide senior leadership and strategic direction for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and CyberArk solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational security objectives and service delivery standards.
• Configure, implement and support CyberArk components (EPM, EPV, CPM), while managing privileged access, enforcing least privilege principles, and securing credential lifecycle management.
• Lead technical delivery across the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, and acceptance testing to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, compliant, and high quality.
• Deliver ongoing Level 3 support and proactively manage operational issues, minimising service disruption and continuously improving system performance and reliability.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
About You
• Extensive experience supporting and administering CyberArk PAM solutions, including EPV, CPM, PSM, and Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM).
• Strong knowledge of application control frameworks, including allowlisting, privilege elevation, and behavioural analytics to protect endpoints.
• Proven ability to integrate CyberArk with enterprise environments, including Active Directory, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and SIEM tools.
• Demonstrated experience delivering PAM and application control initiatives aligned with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and NIST.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology (or equivalent experience) within a large, complex ICT environment, with proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence, willingness to travel as required, and flexibility to undertake additional duties as needed.
