Working closely with senior leaders, you will support the provision of workforce advice and processes, drive executive recruitment services and support effective decision-making. What you will be doing 

  • Provide strategic HR business partnering and expert workforce advice to support organisational objectives, workforce capability, and business outcomes across NSW Health. 
  • Lead end-to-end executive talent acquisition and employment services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, governance requirements, and best-practice workforce standards. 
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder partnerships, delivering high-quality recruitment, employment, and workforce management solutions for senior leaders. 
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. 
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen workforce capability, providing expert guidance on talent strategies and identifying opportunities to enhance workforce outcomes. 
  • Deliver strategic workforce initiatives, policy advice, and projects, including research, analysis, reporting, and recommendations that support informed decision-making and sustainable workforce practices.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

  • Effective collaboration with colleagues and contributes positively to a supportive, high-performing team culture.
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, policy frameworks, and governance requirements, with the ability to provide expert advice to senior stakeholders. 
  • Experience delivering executive recruitment, employment, or workforce management services in a complex environment. 
  • Proven ability to lead team performance, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed timeframes. 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively. 
  • Current knowledge of talent acquisition and HR policies, practices, and frameworks across NSW Health and the public sector.
