Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in biomedical science or a related field
Significant experience in diagnostic genetic testing
Experience in validating test methodologies for NATA assessment
Experience in using bioinformatics tools in R, Perl, Python within a Unix/Linux environment, and experienced in high performance computing
Skilled in supervising research staff and students, with the capacity to manage a research team effectively
Ability to function as part of a team or independently in a laboratory setting, with excellence in oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills with a diverse range of individuals
Possesses sound knowledge of work health and safety responsibilities and is committed to participating in relevant health and safety training
