What you'll be doing 
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide expert financial leadership, strategic advice and business partnering support across key hospital portfolios. Working closely with operational leaders and the Facility Finance Manager, you will drive financial performance, strengthen governance and support informed decision making.

• Partner with directors and managers to deliver financial insights and achieve budget outcomes
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting and management accounting activities
• Identify efficiency improvements, revenue opportunities and cost optimisation strategies
• Develop and monitor financial controls, governance frameworks and performance measures
• Mentor finance team members and support capability development across the organisation

 

How to Apply

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications with a full and current membership to a relevant professional accounting body, as well as a record of ongoing professional development OR extensive relevant industry experience.

  2. Demonstrated experience in financial operations of a Health Service (or similar body)

  3. Excellent strategic planning and policy development skills.

  4. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and experience in liaison and negotiation at all levels with a wide range of Stakeholders.

  5. Well-developed issues management skills with the ability to apply sound judgement and work within tight deadlines in order to respond to sensitive and complex matters.

  6. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.

  7. Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, enhancement proposals, business plans and briefs.
