Join a high-performing and collaborative IT team that delivers expert third-level support to end users, facility IT staff, and external stakeholders. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining desktop environments, including building and deploying images and software packages using SCCM, Active Directory, and Intune. You will also contribute to managing desktop antivirus solutions and supporting a range of cybersecurity initiatives to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment. As part of a close-knit team of five highly skilled IT professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge, enhance your technical expertise, and make a meaningful impact across the organisation.

Selection Criteria 
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below. 

  • Extensive experience in installing and managing current Windows based Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images for the PC desktops/laptop using SCCM tools in a large multi-site organisation.
  • Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications and/or approved course certifications.
  • Experience using various communication protocols including Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).
  • Working knowledge of Virtual Private Network (VPN) remote access systems.
  • Experience in using Windows Active Directory tools and SCCM Application Software.
  • Experience in managing Anti-Virus Software Application in a large multi-site environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with capacity to mentor teams members.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills including ability to analyse, troubleshoot, solve problems, establish priorities effectively and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
