We manage services built on a robust Citrix technology stack, supporting over 120,000 clinical and corporate virtual-app sessions 24/7 for clinicians and support staff across the state. This is an opportunity to directly impact the lives of millions and the efficiency of a world-class health system.

We're seeking a Senior Engineer who is ready to own and drive our vital Citrix virtual app and desktop platform services. Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll actively shape our system architecture and guide technical delivery, directly contributing to our technology roadmap and driving platform innovation.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, maintain, and support Citrix platform services to ensure performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Lead transformations and deliver platform migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives aligned with technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate and innovate with engineers and product owners to implement roadmap features, assess risks, and strategically prioritise system enhancements.
  • Ensure resilience by leading incident resolution, champion robust change management, and oversee performance monitoring to uphold system resilience and security.
  • Contribute to our continuous improvement culture by developing and embedding best practices, comprehensive documentation, and advancing team capability.

This role is internally referred to as Senior Engineer – Desktop Virtualisation.
