About the Role – Senior Advanced Clinical Coder

As a Senior Advanced Clinical Coder, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the ethical, timely, and highly accurate coding of inpatient episodes of care using the current ICD-10-AM classification system, in line with the Australian Coding Standards and relevant National and State coding guidelines. Your expertise will support the integrity of clinical data and documentation, directly contributing to safe, high-quality patient care and informed health service planning.

Beyond your technical expertise, you will help strengthen coding excellence across our sites by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to fellow clinical coders, contributing to continuous improvement and quality uplift across the service.
