What you'll be doing
As Senior Administration Officer - Research, you will provide high-level administrative support across research ethics and governance functions, ensuring research activities comply with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.

You will play a key role in supporting researchers and committees, managing research submissions, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the efficient operation of the Research Office.

  • Coordinate and process research ethics and governance submissions, amendments and reporting requirements within established timeframes

  • Provide expert advice and support to researchers, including assistance with research application systems such as REGIS

  • Maintain research databases, financial records, reports, correspondence and administrative systems with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

  • Support the operation of research governance committees and assist with the preparation of regulatory and organisational reporting requirements

  • Build effective relationships with researchers, stakeholders and committee members to facilitate successful research outcomes

  1. Extensive experience working as a high-level administration officer with proven strong secretarial/administrative and time management skills.

  2. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills (including minute taking and composition of correspondence).

  3. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  4. Demonstrated learning agility, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  5. Demonstrated exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

  6. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships including those with senior management and other key internal and external stakeholders.

  7. Demonstrated high level capacity to use office computing applications including REGIS, word processing, spreadsheets and data bases.
