The purpose of this position includes the responsibility for the security and protection of property and assets for all properties and lands serviced by Royal Prince Alfred Hospital's Security Services. As well as performing routine security duties, the Security Staff will form part of the clinical team, with a special emphasis on frontline customer service and building relationships with patients and their relatives.

Positions available (Only Full Time positions will be accepted)
 
•    RPAH Security Officer - Successful candidates will work across the whole RPAH campus, including within the Emergency Department, across the wards, and other buildings located across RPA.
 


•   Professor Marie Bashir Centre (Mental Health) Security Officer 
Successful candidates will be working at within the Professor Marie Bashir Centre as a concierge and responder to the Mental Health Unit. The position also supports other services within the building, such as dialysis. 

   
Our Ideal Candidate
 
  • Holds a Security Licence Class 1A - Security Industry Licence, current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 licence acceptable) and current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills as well as intermediate level computer operating skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, follow directions and work without close supervision
  • Has the ability to perform shift work on a 24/7 rotating basis
