What you'll be doing
As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors, while delivering high-quality customer service in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, alarms and emergency situations
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety and security measures
Operate CCTV, access control and duress alarm systems
De-escalate challenging situations with professionalism and care
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure safety outcomes

Essential Requirements:
License: Class 1A Licence as issued under the Security Industry Act 1997
Qualification: Certificate II in Security Guarding
Current First Aid Certificate
Selection Criteria:
NSW Driver Licence with excellent driving record (full or provisional class C)
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to manage and de-escalate difficult situations
Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated experience with electronic security systems such as access control and building management systems, CCTV monitoring, data entry, and radio communications
Ability to adapt and learn emerging security and IT systems
Experience in a customer service role, ideally involving access or traffic monitoring
