About the Role

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. It has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
    
Working in a multi-faceted health facility, the role has a strong emphasis on positive engagement with clinical teams, patients and their families in the provision of security services for the protection of people, property and crime prevention within Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) facilities and properties serviced by SLHD Security. This includes taking pro-active steps in the early identification and prevention of incidents.

Ideal Candidate

  • Licenced in accordance with the Security Industry Act 1997 - Class 1 A.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Current NSW driver licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
  • Sound written and Oral communication skills.
  • Available to work 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster across facilities within the District.

  
Previous applicants within the last 12 months need not apply.
