Selection Criteria:
- Extensive experience in a management capacity within security services with experience in, or ability to display an understanding of, security within a health environment and an ability to effectively manage competing workload priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, co-ordinate and develop security teams positively to achieve commitment and co-operation with relevant stakeholders.
- Current NSW Security Licence Class 1A, Senior First Aid.
- Demonstrated ability to provide sound advice, technical working knowledge and to make recommendations to senior management regarding security services.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, organisational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels
- Understanding of security needs in a community health setting
- Ability to interpret, apply, monitor and evaluate policies, procedures and standards
- Demonstrated ability to participate in strategic planning of services and facilities with respect to security audits, risk management and assessments.
