As a Scientific Officer, you will contribute to inpatient and outpatient care for both adult and paediatric patients, supporting critical neuro‑critical care services with essential diagnostics and prognostication. This role offers strong exposure to cutting‑edge practice, research, and the ongoing development of new procedures, alongside active involvement in education and staff training.

What you will bring to the role

  1. RMIT diploma of Health Science, clinical neurophysiology, CSU graduate Certificate Health Science, Clinical Neurophysiology or Bachelor of Medical Health Science or such qualifications as the employer deems equivalent.
  2. Proficient in performing routine and specialised electroencephalography- EEG
  3. Proficient in performing of nerve conduction studies and electromyography
  4. Ability to participate in tremor studies and Botox treatment clinics
  5. Excellent communication skills
  6. Valid Driver’s license and willingness to use for work related travel
