Located at Westmead Hospital, one of Australia’s largest and most advanced teaching hospitals, you’ll be part of a highly regarded Neurophysiology and Neurology service supporting both inpatient and outpatient care.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you’ll deliver accurate, timely and high‑quality neuro‑diagnostic services while building specialist expertise within Neurophysiology.
Your key activities will include:
Performing inpatient and outpatient EEG, NCS/EMG, EP, Tremor studies, Video Telemetry and ambulatory studies
Producing accurate scientific EEG reports and identifying abnormal findings
Troubleshooting technical issues and adapting techniques to patient needs
Contributing to research, service improvement and evidence‑based practice
Supporting patient education, training activities and departmental initiatives
In this role, you'll perform neurodiagnostic procedures to help diagnose neurological conditions and directly contribute to patient outcomes.

Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in a science related field
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated knowledge in technical procedures associated with specialised procedures and/or treatments relevant to a speciality and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment whilst working autonomously to deliver results within specified timeframes set to meet client expectations
Well-developed interpersonal skills and good oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, patients and staff
Display initiative, problem solving and analytical skills including an ability to apply established principles in the speciality and resolve general and complex issues within the Department
Commitment to the principles of quality management and maintaining continuous quality improvement to patient care within WSLHD
