Mental Health Drug & Alcohol, Dubbo
About the role
The School-Link Coordinator plays a vital role in improving mental health outcomes for children and young people by strengthening partnerships between schools and health services. Working across public and private school settings, the role supports the early identification of mental health concerns and facilitates access to appropriate assessment, treatment and specialist mental health services.
Working collaboratively with school staff, health professionals and community stakeholders the Coordinator will promote evidence-based mental health practices, develop referral pathways and provide advice and support to enhance student wellbeing. The position also delivers mental health education programs to students, increasing awareness, building resilience and encouraging early help-seeking behaviours.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated mental health professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people while fostering strong connections between education and healthcare services across the region.
