1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in General Paediatrics / Paediatrics and Child Health), and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
2. Demonstrated recent clinical experience in General Paediatrics at the role delineation of the service including competent management across inpatient ambulatory and outpatient models of care
3. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
4. Demonstrated commitment to family-centred and patient-centred care
5. Proven high level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with effective use of a range of communication tools
6. Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and research, with the ability to adapt to changing clinical and organisational needs and implement evolving models of care
7. Proven commitment to education, supervision and professional development
8. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time
