  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Psychologists must have a four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology; or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
  2. Demonstrated understanding and skills in providing culturally responsive child centred, family focussed counselling, support and case management to address problematic or harmful sexual behaviours with young children and their carers. Demonstrated experience participating in and/or leading quality improvement activities, service development and evaluation.

     

  3. Demonstrated commitment to clinical and cultural supervision and professional education and if relevant to application, experience providing clinical supervision and leading education and teaching to staff and/or students.
