Through targeted education and outreach, the coordinator empowers communities to recognise early signs of mental health issues and facilitates timely access to support.

Working closely with mental health teams, clinicians and local agencies, the RAMHP Coordinator strengthens referral processes and fosters cross-sector collaboration. They build capacity in rural organisations to respond effectively to adversity while improving mental health literacy and integrated care systems. This role also contributes to interagency networks, clinical meetings, and family support teams to ensure that individuals and carers receive essential information and tools for maintaining mental wellbeing.
