About the Opportunity

The Rostering Coordinator role is to manage and coordinate staffing, rostering, and deployment functions across operational teams. This critical role provides the interface between corporate, operational, and rostering functions, ensuring that operational requirements are met efficiently and that staff resources are optimised across the sector.
You will be responsible for maintaining operational rosters, managing staff leave and skill-mix requirements, and supporting operational managers to achieve service delivery objectives while maintaining compliance with Award requirements and NSW Health policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to contribute to the smooth functioning of frontline emergency services in NSW.

About You

You are an organised and proactive professional with strong experience in rostering, staff coordination, and workforce management. You have a solid understanding of the NSW Operational Ambulance Officers Award and related legislation, and can navigate complex operational environments with confidence.
You bring excellent administrative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and are able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace. Your interpersonal and communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with operational managers, staff, and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
You are experienced in analysing and interpreting data to inform rostering and operational decisions, and you are committed to maintaining compliance, governance, and high-quality standards. You have demonstrated people management skills, including staff support, performance management, and the early identification and resolution of workplace issues, including bullying and harassment.

Salary Range: $87,813 - $116,824 per annum + 12% Super & Benefits (Health Mgr lvl 1)
