About The Opportunity

The Rostering Improvement Lead is responsible for delivering best-practice rostering outcomes and rostering performance analysis across CCLHD and forms part of the Establishment, Rostering and Analytics division within Workforce and Culture.

The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert rostering advice, guidance and education to support managers in achieving consistent, compliant and efficient rostering practices. The role also leads the review, interpretation and actioning of rostering analytics to improve key workforce performance indicators and identify opportunities to enhance roster efficiency and effectiveness across the District.

This role is a key strategic enabler in ensuring roster demand aligns with approved establishment and budgeted FTE. It supports effective workforce governance by identifying, monitoring and reporting roster outcomes that fall outside baseline demand, enabling timely corrective action and informed decision-making.

The Rostering Improvement Lead is also responsible for coordinating, promoting and delivering education programs in HealthRoster and driving sustainable change by embedding the principles of the Rostering Capability Framework across all roster managers and support staff, strengthening rostering capability and accountability throughout the District.
