What you'll be doing
The Revenue Administration Support Officer will work closely with the Statewide Revenue Manager to provide day to day support to the NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) Corporate and Operational Revenue teams. This role will coordinate administrative systems and procedures across the revenue portfolio to enable the Statewide Revenue Manager, the Operational Revenue Manager and other staff and stakeholders to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable, and efficient manner.

  1. Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, exercising independent judgement, discretion and initiative, prioritising work, and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of Health Roster, or similar rostering system
  2. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively, in verbal and written form, with a diverse range of people while maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion
  3. Demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer-focused service and applying quality improvement initiatives to workplace practices and procedures
  4. Demonstrated ability to maintain documentation including policies, guides etc. for a revenue system or other similar system. Prior experience with pathology specific laboratory and or billing systems are highly regarded.
  5. Advanced skills in creating, maintaining, and publishing documents, utilising the Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel and Access
  6. Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSW Health Pathology RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence
