About the role

• Administrative Support: Coordinate vital administrative support for our billing team, ensuring efficient daily operations and high service standards.

• Billing & Claims: Assist with billing patient accounts to Medicare, Health Funds, and self-insured patients, including submitting inpatient and outpatient doctor’s claims and reviewing rejections.

• Collaboration & Follow-Up: Work closely with treating doctors, Debt Recovery, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure timely processing of claims and payments.

• Organizational Skills: Efficiently scan, store, and manage patient and health fund documentation while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Key Skills & Support: Use your expertise in Microsoft Office, along with excellent communication skills, to assist the Revenue Accountant with reports, cash management, and any ad-hoc tasks.

• Health Admin Know-How (a bonus!): Experience in health administration or billing is a plus—but if you’re keen to learn, we’ll support you all the way.
