Join our Statewide Revenue team and gain hands-on experience with large-scale billing systems, data management, and process improvement while supporting one of Australia's leading public healthcare organisations.
What you'll be doing
The Revenue Billing System Support Officer provides day-to-day system configuration and support for the Revenue Billing System Specialists. The position is responsible for billing systems administration, including creation of clients, items, service resources as well as other miscellaneous configurations and amendments within the SIMBA billing system. Further support will involve data extraction and preparation as well as data maintenance activities and overall contribution to quality improvement initiatives and documentation management.
The Revenue Billing System Support Officer will also be responsible for recording statistics and other regular reporting. Ability to adhere to all organisational policies and obtain necessary approvals before proceeding with change requests.

- Proven strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including a patient, courteous and professional manner when assisting users in a service desk capacity.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to accurately interpret complex information.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, and maintaining professional operational procedures and related documentation.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with experience working in high‑volume, fast‑paced environments, including the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines, and maintain a strong customer‑focused approach.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective use of spreadsheets, databases, and word‑processing applications.
- Demonstrated experience working with a large and complex Financial Management Information System or Enterprise Billing System such as Oracle R12 eBusiness suite.
