About the Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting rehabilitation outcomes for clients that have sustained a brain injury. The Residential Care Worker position provides an opportunity to develop a range of rehabilitation skills and work within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position is based in a residential facility located in Chipping Norton with a focus on promoting the development of client’s independent living skills. The Residential Care Worker is expected to work a rotating roster.

- Relevant tertiary qualification or Certificate IV in Health or Disability, and current First Aid Certification.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of working with and supporting adults during the rehabilitation continuum, preferably adults with an acquired brain injury.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workload priorities and work with limited supervision and/or in isolation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including proficient computer literacy in a range of programs.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
