We are looking for an experienced Health Manager to join a dynamic and dedicated team.
Your new role...
The Health Manager position will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

The CMT R&D Manager provides sound leadership in the planning, development, coordination and operation of the Department of Cell & Molecular Therapies, in close liaison with the Head of Department (HoD). CMT at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is a service within Sydney Local Health District committed to the development and delivery of novel cell and genetic therapies to improve the quality of life and survival of patients.

  • Effectively and efficiently manages an increasingly, dynamic regulatory compliant research and clinical service and therapeutic production unit at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
  • Manages basic, translational and clinical research for multi-national, national and local research studies.
  • Promote CMT at state, national and international level, as a leading site for cell and gene therapy research, clinical trials and standard of care service delivery.

  • The ideal candidate will have...

    • A qualification in a relevant health profession, relevant tertiary qualifications including post graduate management qualifications or equivalent or substantial work experience. Extensive senior management experience.
    • Demonstrated relevant knowledge and experience in cell & gene therapies to facilitate the coordination, implementation and evaluation of strategic planning of research programs and/or clinical services.
    • Demonstrated accountability in managing highly complex human resource, administrative and financial issues, including budget development and management. Sound knowledge of and experience in of regulatory and commercial issues related to cell and gene therapies.
