Remote Health Services Deputy General Manager

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Current Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Appropriate post graduate tertiary qualifications in management at a minimum Graduate Certificate level with five years full time equivalent post qualification experience in the relevant field.
- Demonstrated leadership skills including conflict resolution, mediation and negotiation, and the ability to motivate, inspire and manage staff to achieve service and professional goals through recognised change management processes.
- Proven ability to function effectively as part of a senior management team and to work successfully with other professionals and disciplines in the management of health care services.
- Broad clinical experience and operational management expertise at a senior level within a health care environment, including strategic planning, the development, implementation & evaluation of organisational Strategic & Business Plans and Project Management.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role, function & funding of public hospital within the Australian and NSW Health Systems.
- Current drivers license and ability and willingness to travel in rural and remote areas, including overnight stays.
