What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You describe yourself as a dedicated and capable nurse who brings strong clinical expertise and a calm, confident presence to fast‑paced outpatient and acute care environments. With current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you ground your practice in professional standards while continually refining your skills to meet the needs of diverse patient groups.
You demonstrate sound nursing knowledge and hands‑on ability, applying your clinical judgement to deliver safe, effective care. Your problem‑solving skills are a core strength—you assess situations quickly, think critically, and make decisions that support the best possible outcomes for patients.
Communication is one of your standout qualities. You use information technology effectively, document with clarity, and communicate with patients, families and colleagues in a way that is both professional and compassionate. Your interpersonal skills help you build rapport, navigate challenges and contribute positively to the team environment.
You work confidently within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating patient care with a focus on outcomes and continuity. You understand the importance of collaboration and take initiative to ensure care is well‑planned, timely and responsive.
You’re also adaptable and committed, participating in a seven‑day rotating roster that includes nights and public holidays. Your reliability and willingness to support service needs reflect your strong work ethic and dedication to high‑quality patient care.
