The Role
We’re currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience.
The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
Our Location
Frank Baxter Youth Justice Centre located in Kariong is the largest in NSW. Kariong is a family orientated suburb on the NSW Central Coast, approximately 70 kilometers north of Sydney. Known for its peaceful bushland setting and proximity to Brisbane Water National Park.
Frank Baxter Youth Justice Centre supports young males aged 16-21 on control orders or remand. With a focus on rehabilitation, the centre offers health, education, counselling and life skills programs.
