About the Opportunity
Are you a Registered nurse, with haemodialysis experience, looking for a rewarding opportunity, to join the dynamic and welcoming team at the Wagga renal unit.

As the Registered Nurse, you will:

  • Assess patients and deliver safe, individualised nursing care
  • Develop, implement, review and document care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to clinical changes
  • Involve and educate patients and carers in care decisions
  • Coordinate discharge and transitions of care
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accountability and contribute to quality improvement

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated experience or interest in renal nursing, with experience and skill in venipuncture and cannulation experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and evaluate person-centred care plans, and deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
