Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital is an acute hospital that supports a population of approximately 80,000 and is the only ANZAC Memorial hospital remaining in NSW. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Paediatrics team in delivering high quality, family centred care to infants, children, and young people. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment where clinical excellence, safety and kindness are at the heart of everything we do.
As a Paediatric Registered Nurse, you will provide evidence-based nursing care to children and their families across a range of presentations. You will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation while working collaboratively with medical staff and allied health professionals. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will play a key role in supporting and educating families during what can often be a stressful time.

What you will bring to the role
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in paediatric nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
- Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
