What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You are a highly skilled Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and the clinical expertise to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care within acute hospital settings. Drawing on extensive nursing knowledge and experience, you are adept at assessing complex patient needs, applying sound clinical judgement, and using advanced problem-solving skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
You have a high level of expertise in the perioperative environment, including trauma care, and are confident working in fast-paced and demanding clinical settings where critical thinking and attention to detail are essential. Your excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, combined with proficiency in clinical information systems and technology, enable you to collaborate effectively with patients, families and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
As a proactive and organised healthcare professional, you excel in planning, coordinating and evaluating care to ensure positive, outcome-focused results for patients. You are committed to maintaining high standards of clinical practice, contributing to a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement. Adaptable and dependable, you are willing to participate in a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and on-call requirements, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality care when it is needed most.
