What You'll be Doing
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.
The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital. - Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Describe your recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a relevant specialty, including how you apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to deliver safe, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.
- Provide examples of how you communicate and engage effectively with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure responsive, person-centred care, including how you manage professional relationships and resolve conflicts.
- Explain your understanding and involvement in risk management, work health and safety, and quality improvement initiatives, and how you contribute to maintaining a safe and high-performing clinical environment.
- Ward 2D treats a mixture of aged care and patients with challenging behaviours. There will be times when you are required to manage more than one patient on a shift with challenging behaviours. Can you advise how you would manage your shift? What safety measures would you implement..
