What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You
You frame yourself as a capable and adaptable nursing professional who brings strong clinical judgement, a broad skill set and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence‑based care across both virtual and face‑to‑face environments. You hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and practise in a way that reflects contemporary standards, accountability and a clear focus on patient wellbeing.

You demonstrate the clinical competence required to work confidently within hybrid care models, applying advanced assessment skills, critical thinking and early‑intervention strategies across urgent care, community and aged‑care contexts. You recognise clinical deterioration promptly and respond with assurance, managing priorities independently while contributing meaningfully to coordinated, multidisciplinary care.

Your communication is consistently professional and effective. You engage with patients, families, colleagues and stakeholders with clarity and respect, and you use digital health technologies and virtual care platforms with proficiency or a willingness to further develop capability. Your interpersonal approach supports safe care delivery, strong collaboration and positive patient experiences.

You show a sustained commitment to person‑centred care, patient safety and clinical excellence. You participate actively in quality improvement and work with others to strengthen service delivery and achieve the best possible outcomes across the continuum of care. Your practice reflects reliability, initiative and a genuine dedication to high‑quality nursing.

You work flexibly within a seven‑day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, supporting timely and responsive care in both virtual and face‑to‑face settings. You maintain a current NSW driver’s licence and are willing to travel for work purposes, demonstrating readiness to meet service needs wherever they arise.
