What you'll be doing
This role focuses on delivering exceptional, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary health team to support optimal patient outcomes. The position requires clinical leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to quality care and ethical practice.
Provide holistic, individualised care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team
Make timely and appropriate referrals to ensure continuity of care post-discharge
Supervise and mentor staff and students to support professional development
Delegate care based on scope of practice while responding to changing patient needs
Uphold ethical, culturally respectful practice while managing healthcare resources efficiently

Essential Requirements:
Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in critical care nursing in an acute care facility
Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking to patient care
Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, delegate, and negotiate with others to deliver quality nursing care
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means, and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
