This Is Rural Nursing Done Properly
If you’re looking for real autonomy, real variety, and a team that actually has your back, Quirindi Emergency Department delivers what metro roles promise but rarely give.
As one of our nurses put it:
“Quirindi ED is a great place to work if you want autonomy, a wide scope of practice, and a team that’s genuinely fun, bright, and supportive. No two days are ever the same.”
- Holly, Emergency Department RN
Where You’ll Be Working
Set among the rolling hills and sunflower fields of the Liverpool Plains, Quirindi is just under an hour from Tamworth and offers the kind of lifestyle balance many nurses are actively chasing.
Quirindi Health Service includes:
- Quirindi Hospital – a 24/7 acute facility with Emergency Department
- HealthOne Quirindi - co-located GP and Community Health services
This integrated model means continuity of care, strong clinical relationships, and genuine teamwork across services.
You’ll be led by the Health Service Manager, known for building inclusive, high-performing teams where nurses feel supported, trusted, and valued. The culture is social, down-to-earth, and refreshingly real - quirky scrub days, social club events, and a team that looks out for one another.
