About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our General Ward, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based and person-centred care to a diverse patient population. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care while contributing to positive clinical outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.
This is a rewarding opportunity to utilise your clinical expertise in a fast-paced acute care environment where no two days are the same. You will be supported to apply your clinical judgement, communication skills and problem-solving abilities while working collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare professionals. The position operates on a seven-day rotating roster, including public holidays and night duty.
About You
You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. With current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you bring sound clinical knowledge and experience within an acute hospital and/or outpatient setting.
You are confident in your ability to assess patient needs, identify clinical priorities and make informed decisions to achieve the best possible outcomes. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build effective relationships with patients, families and colleagues, while your proficiency with clinical information systems supports accurate documentation and seamless care delivery.
Most importantly, you thrive in a collaborative team environment, demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and are adaptable to working across a rotating roster to meet the needs of patients and the service.

Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
