The Emergency Department at Northern Beaches Hospital is a fast-paced, high-performing tertiary-level Emergency Department, delivering high-quality care to one of Sydney’s fastest-growing communities, where teamwork, clinical excellence and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse within the Emergency Department, you will provide expert clinical care to patients presenting with a broad range of acute, complex and time-critical conditions. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will utilise advanced clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills to deliver safe, evidence-based care while supporting patient flow, responding to rapidly changing clinical situations, and contributing to positive patient and service outcomes. In this role, you will also play an important part in fostering a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse – Division 1 with current AHPRA registration and demonstrated post-registration experience within critical care and/or an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred care while effectively prioritising workload and adapting to rapidly changing clinical environments.
- Proven clinical assessment, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex and evolving patient situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive, collaborative approach and a commitment to contributing to a supportive team culture.
