About the role:

In this versatile and rewarding position, you’ll work across both the Emergency Department and General Ward, with future opportunities to expand into peri-operative care.



You will:

  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in emergency, medical, and surgical settings
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, a Nurse Unit Manager, and Clinical Nurse Educators
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative workplace culture where professional development is encouraged
  • Work on a rotating roster that supports work-life balance and provides variety in your clinical experience



About you:

We’re seeking a Registered Nurse who:

  • Has recent experience in Emergency and either holds triage credentialing or is willing to work towards it
  • Is passionate about person-centred care and able to advocate for patients and families
  • Can respond effectively to rapidly changing clinical situations
  • Enjoys working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and cultural respect in all interactions
  • Is confident supervising students and delegating to ENs and AINs within scope of practice



Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Working with children check
  • Recent Emergency Department experience
  • Triage credentialing or willingness to obtain

  • Clinical advocacy and critical thinking
  • Team collaboration and conflict resolution
  • Cultural awareness and Closing the Gap alignment
  • Willingness to support and supervise junior staff
