Join the Lower Mid North Coast Opiate Dependence Service, based at Manning Base Hospital in Taree. You’ll provide person-centred care to people accessing opiate treatment, supporting their health, wellbeing and recovery while working alongside an experienced and supportive team.

About you

We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and brings a calm, respectful and approachable manner to their practice.

You will bring:

  • Compassionate, person-centred care – providing safe, effective and respectful nursing care.
  • Strong communication skills – building positive relationships with patients, families/carers and colleagues.
  • Teamwork – working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A respectful approach – engaging with patients in a non-judgemental and culturally respectful manner.
  • Professional integrity – maintaining high ethical standards and appropriate professional boundaries.
  • A commitment to growth – actively engaging in learning and professional development.
  • Relevant experience – experience in alcohol and other drug services, mental health or a similar setting will be highly regarded.
     

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
