About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with an interest in mental health to join the Bathurst Community Mental Health Team. This full-time position offers the benefit of working business hours while delivering high-quality care to adults within a community-based setting.
The position is part of a multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Psychologists, Social Workers and Psychiatrists, providing a mix of acute assessment, therapeutic interventions and clinical management to consumers with a range of mental health conditions.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in mental health assessment, critical thinking, rapport building and evidence-based care, while working closely with carers and community support services.
You will be supported by experienced senior clinicians through regular clinical supervision, daily multidisciplinary case reviews and ongoing professional development opportunities. With a strong focus on staff wellbeing and a positive team culture, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your mental health nursing career while making a meaningful difference in your local community.
