What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and including eligibility for membership of relevant professional body & full registration with AHPRA (including completion of a new graduate RN program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse)
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with mental illness
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills
- Computer competence and literacy
- Current NSW drivers license and willingness to use it for work purposes
