The Opportunity
Westlakes Palliative Care & Community Nursing is a small, friendly team delivering high-quality clinical care to patients in their homes across the Lake Macquarie region. We currently have permanent part-time and temporary part-time opportunities available, offering the chance to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with the tools and support needed to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver clinical care in the home setting

  • Wound care and dressing management

  • Medication administration

  • Catheter and drain management

  • Provide palliative and end-of-life care

  • Complete documentation in line with service requirements

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes

 

What You'll Bring

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

  • Demonstrated experience in wound care and continence management

  • Ability to work independently within scope of practice

  • Strong understanding of professional and ethical boundaries

  • Applied evidence-based practice and critical thinking to care delivery

  • Personable, professional communication skills with ability to manage conflict

  • Eligible to drive in NSW

  • Willingness to work weekends on an ongoing basis (essential)
