Step into a High Performing Close Observation Unit 

Join the recently renovated 5-bed Level 3 Close Observation Unit at Armidale Hospital, where you'll provide person-centred care to patients requiring High Dependency and Coronary Care, with short-term Intensive Care treatments also delivered within the unit.

Working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll care for complex and critically unwell patients while confidently responding to rapidly changing clinical conditions and emergency presentations.


We're looking for Registered Nurses who are:

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient-centred care.

  • Resilient, organised, and confident in high-acuity environments.

  • Strong communicators with excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

  • Committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Team Leader/In-Charge experience and/or a postgraduate qualification in Critical Care will be highly regarded.

  • * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
